Terms and Conditions

  1. Entry to the competition is made by submitting the nomination form on the Ruby Red Photography website.
  2. Entries close at midnight on 31 December 2017.
  3. The winner will be chosen by Ruby Red Photography based on the entries submitted. The competition is not a draw, and the judge's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  4. The winner will be contacted by 16 January 2018 to confirm their acceptance of and eligibility for the prize.
  5. If no response is received within 7 days of the above person being notified, the prize will be forfeited. The judge will decide whether to select a replacement winner.
  6. The prize is a $1,000 gift certificate for Ruby Red Photography. The prize is transferrable but must be used in relation to the newborn photography for an eligible baby (see 9 below), and is not redeemable for cash. It may be used towards your photographic shoot fee and personalised artwork with Ruby Red Photography. It cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or towards past orders or sessions, however it can be used towards newborn studio photography sessions that have already been booked for 2018. In this case, the gift certificate cannot be used towards the photographic shoot fee that has been paid to confirm the booking, but can be used to purchase artwork created from the photographic shoot.
  7. One purchasing appointment only will be available where all decision makers must be present.
  8. At the judge’s discretion and based on the number of entries, additional prizes of the same or lesser value may be awarded. These will also be gift certificates with the same conditions as described above.
  9. Entry is not restricted to pregnant mothers – fathers, grandparents, or other friends or relations are also welcome to enter. However, to be eligible for the prize the entry must relate to an existing pregnancy for a baby with a due during 2018. Multiple entries in relation to the same baby are welcome, providing they are submitted by different people. The prize can be gifted to the baby's parents or retained by the writer of the winning entry, however the baby's parents or legal guardians must consent to the baby being photographed.
  10. Specific dates for the photographic shoot are subject to availability. Newborn studio sessions are best photographed within the first 2 weeks after birth.
  11. Standard Ruby Red Photography Terms and Conditions apply to the photographic shoot and resulting images.
